Purpose
-------

.. note::

 In order to adhere to security requirements our standard process is to upload survey data to a secure file transfer site.

 We provide clients with a link to download their data via email; passwords are sent via an SMS message. Data files are available to download for seven days.

 All files are encrypted and zipped prior to sending. Our available encryption levels are below:

 * 256 - 256 bit encryption (default)
 * 128 - 128 bit encryption
 * none - no encryption (not safe)

 Please note that you can provide specific rules that would override our standard procedures. For example, sometimes clients require longer passwords and tighter timeframes for downloading data.


Retrieving your data file
-------------------------

You will receive;

1. an SMS from *Logicly* containing a unique password;

2. an email containing a unique link to download your data file.

Opening your data file
----------------------

Try to open the file normally by double-clicking it. Most OS will be able to open the file automatically using native utilties. If not, you will need to use a file archiver program such as 7-Zip for Windows or Keto for Mac. 

If the following instructions do not work, please contact your Logicly representative for further assistance and they should be able to supply the file using an alternative method.
